Christmas light show
There is a house in Woodinville that puts on a light show every Christmas. It takes the owner 23 days to put up all his lights and decorations. His yard and house are covered in lights, reindeer, santa, nativity sets, etc.. His displays are then hooked up to a computer and the lights flicker and dance to the music...it's really cool! Branson LOVED it....he had to show his dad the cool light show when he got to town!

Snowflake Lane
Every Christmas the street out in front of Bellevue Square Mall turns into Snowflake Lane. Along the sidewalk they have performers that come out at 7:00 pm everynight and put on a 30 minute show. They have drummers, guys on stilts, winter princesses, guys in penguin and polar bear costumes, music and snow that falls off the roof of the mall. We had so much fun dancing to the music...although I think my niece, Nevaeh, had more fun dancing. She couldn't get enough of the penguin and had a blast dancing with him. She was so cute that she even attracted an audience as she danced!

Christmas Turtles
I have a big family so for Christmas instead of buying gifts for everyone we draw names. This year the adults had a white elephant gift exchange and the kids bought gifts for one of their cousins. My boys had their cousins Hailey and Taylor. While reading a blog, I stumbled on this super cute pattern for stuffed turtles. I decided to make my niece's turtles for Christmas. I went to the fabric store and got a little carried away... They had TOO many cute fabrics to choose from so my solution was to make a turtle for all the kids!! They turned out SUPER CUTE and the kids LOVED them! I should mention that I picked out some robot fabric for Branson's turtle but he insisted that he wanted a halloween turtle...the boy is obsessed with halloween!
Christmas Projects
This year the boys and I had a lot of fun making some Christmas crafts. The first one we did was reindeer footprints. I painted the bottom of their feet and pressed it on a white canvas. I added some eyes, antlers, and a cute red nose and our reindeers were complete. I added an fun christmas ribbon to make it easy to hang on the wall. The next craft we did was hand print christmas trees. I painted their hands green and pressed them on a white canvas to creat the tree. Then I painted their thumbs yellow and stamped them on the top of the tree to make a star. Thier pinkies were painted different colors and then stamped on the tree to make ornaments. They turned out SO cute and I love that we will be able to enjoy them every Christmas! (my sister liked them so much that she had me help her make some with her daughter Nevaeh)

Kirkland Christmas Tree Lighting
Every year the city of Kirkland has a tree lighting ceremony. Before the ceremony started they had a lot of different things for the kids to do. They had bounce houses, balloon animals, crafts, food samples, christmas carolers and Santa Claus! The Mayor of Kirkland gave a speech about the first tree lighting ceremony and then there was a count down to the big finale....the tree was big with bright white lights!

The Tot Spot Cafe
A couple weeks ago I took the boys to a fun new place called The Tot Spot Cafe. This place is great for play dates! In the center of the cafe is a blocked off area filled with toys for your kids to play with and then around the outside of the play area are tables, chairs and couches for moms to sit and relax! We went with our cousins and had a great time!
The fire truck was a BIG hit!
